Job description – Key Account & Project Support Intern (Events)

Company overview:

Lateral Thinking connects brands and people through creative experiences, involving brand spatial design and emotional engagement. We are thinkers & makers: we ideate and produce, because we understand that creativity doesn’t end with the project concept — it should run through the entire execution. Our mission? To help build culturally relevant and sustainable brands. Only when a brand generates culture responsibly can it aspire to become a cult brand.

We are looking for a Key Account & Project Support Intern to join our team in Barcelona on a part-time basis. The intern will support our Key Account and Project Management teams in the coordination and execution of brand events, activations, and production projects, gaining hands-on experience across all phases of a real project — from briefing to onsite delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong organisational skills with curiosity and a genuine desire to learn, someone who is eager to understand how event, activation, and production projects are coordinated and brought to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Key Account Managers and Project Managers in the daily management of client accounts and projects.

  • Assist in preparing and updating project timelines, task lists, and notes from meetings.

  • Support budget management by collecting supplier quotes, helping prepare cost comparisons, and assisting with budget updates.

  • Research, contact, and coordinate with suppliers (production, rental, printing, catering, staffing, etc.).

  • Organise and maintain project documentation, including briefs, layouts, deliverables, checklists, and permits.

  • Provide support during production and onsite execution, including basic logistics, material control, and supplier coordination.

  • Follow up on internal deliverables (design, production, logistics) to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Tourism, Design, Event Production, or related fields.

  • Highly organised profile with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and suppliers.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office (especially Sheets/Excel and Slides/PowerPoint).

  • Fluent in Spanish; professional proficiency in English (other languages are a plus).

  • Eligible for a university internship agreement.

  • Availability and flexibility for occasional onsite event support.

Benefits:

  • Participation in real projects

  • A collaborative, innovative, and experience-driven working environment.

  • Great colleagues and a positive work atmosphere.

  • Office located in 22@, Barcelona’s leading business and innovation hub.

  • Opportunity to learn from (and with) our team.

  • Flexible working hours.
